QuickBooks Freezing During Transactions in Multi-User Mode – Need Help!

We’ve noticed QuickBooks freezes when multiple users try to perform transactions at the same time (e.g., one posting a payment, the other recording an expense). Is this a known issue in multi-user mode? Any suggestions on how to improve stability or avoid freezing?

Sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with Quickbooks, I can certainly point you in the right direction to get this resolved as soon as possible. Although Square integrates with Quickbooks, the integration is operated and managed by Quickbooks. For help with Quickbooks-specific questions, you’ll need to submit a ticket to their Support Team.

 

If your QuickBooks keeps freezing or becomes unresponsive during transactions in Multi-User Mode, you’re not alone. This issue often occurs when several users attempt to access or modify the same company file simultaneously. Common causes include network latency, damaged ND or TLG files, incorrect hosting setup, or an outdated QuickBooks version.
