The register is perfect for my huge trunk and my volume and it’s only going to get busier. Do they trade in open box items to expand your POS?

how were you able to keep up with demand without one terminal being not used?

I would keep the terminal for a backup. We don't have a terminal, but we use 2 stands and a iPhone.  We  have one employee on the floor with the iPhone to ring up just card purchases

and welcome to our Seller Community, we're always thrilled to see new faces! 

I'm excited to hear that your volume requires an expansion of your POS and that you expect it to increase even more. 

At this time, we don't have a program to accept trade-ins when purchasing a new piece of equipment. 

As @rtfulk mentioned above, is always a good idea to have a backup option for when updates take longer than expected or you need to take a payment off-site.

I have also seen many Sellers post their devices for sale on platforms like Facebook Marketplace when they no longer have a use for them. 

I hope you get to enjoy your new Register soon and the Terminal gets a second life, whether as your backup or at another Seller's countertop.
