I ended up having 2 accounts and bought a reader for the account that I am not using. What can I do?
Square Readers are not associated with any Account or smart device - for example if you're using the POS App, you just connect the reader to the App. If you lend the Reader to someone else to use, you simply remove it from your App, give it to the other person and they can then connect it to their App. (The App does not care nor does the Reader - it's just a piece of hardware that talks to the App.)

Exactly as @JK_Fiber_Art mentioned, Square Readers are not account-specific and can be used for both of your accounts, you just have to make sure you fully disconnect the Reader and reconnect it if you are switching between mobile devices.
