I have several Ithaca Transact 9000 Printers that I am interested in using as grill printers (because they print on sticky paper). Any advice on what emulation they need to be set up as and how do I make them work with the square pos system? The printer is USB.
@Sark I don't think they are supported printers so no guarantee they will work, but most often an epson emulation will work in some cases. Epson/Star are the main supported printers. You might also check the software site for those printers for a set up tool that will let you tweak those. I am not sure, but FreshKDS may have more printers supported than square for kitchen printing and that could be an option.
