Square claims phone is rooted

Square wont connect because it says my phone is rooted when its not. Have taken my phone to tech support and they tried everything including turning off developer options and reinstalling the app. Still wont work. It used to work just fine. Help?

Yes it is, i've already used the reader with this phone before.
