I have a team member who is now deactivated and has a separate business but cannot open an account using her email that was used to log in with TEAMS. What is going on here?

An email address can only be used on one Square account at a time. If your team member’s email was previously linked to another account, they'll need to either:
Once one of these steps is taken, they should be able to set up their new account without issues!

Since i posted i have refined my issue a bit. What I now understand is that one email can be used for both a TEAM member with one business and the same email for another business. Or two businesses can be on a single account. The original problem with my team member is they could not open a new business for some reason using the one email they had for TEAMS.
After logging in the app asks which business to use (if you have more than 1) and then once you select the business, which location (if you have more than 1). see below the first screen
