How do I cancel order for card reader?

I could not find my original reader, and with a show this weekend, I ordered a new one. I found my reader packed in a file in my cabinet, and need to cancel this other order I placed last night, and refund funds back to my card.

Hi @brownsheltie!

You can request a cancellation of your Square Hardware Order if the order is still marked as ‘processing’.


To request an order cancellation:

1. Log into your Square online Dashboard.
2. Select the name of your business in the top right hand corner and click Order Square Hardware.
3. From the Square Shop Page click My Account > Order Status.
4. If the order is still processing, you will have the opportunity to Request Cancellation.

If successful, you will receive a confirmation email that your order has been successfully cancelled. A refund will be issued to the card you used to make the purchase. This may take 2-7 business days to appear on your bank statement.

If your order has already been sent to our fulfilment centre, it can no longer be cancelled. Your order should arrive in the next few days, and as soon as it does, you can return it for a full refund.

To submit your return, visit Returns and Warranty Exchanges.

Once we’ve received your returned order, the full payment amount will be refunded to the original payment card. 🙂
