Change payment names

About 5 years ago the question was asked if we would be able to change the payment names. For example. Change the payment name from "Other Payment Types" to "Venmo". As an accountant, this would be very helpful in determining where specific funds are coming from. Please advise.

Welcome to the Community! Appreciate your first post here. 

Being able to change the payment type or name on the payment is still a feature request for Point of Sale. 

I would recommend taking a look at our Ideate Board to drop this Feature Request over there. Once more information becomes available, our Community Moderators will jump in.
