Can't split payment with Terminal

Not able to split payments. Have to use reader to get it done. Anyone else having this issue?

@hughgjohnson It’s not just you.  Currently, you can not split payments using connected terminal.  I know that I, and others, who were involved in the beta testing put in requests to make this happen.  I haven’t heard of any movement in this area, lately.

I have heard that it is not a technological problem, but a legal problem.

At this time this is a Feature Request that depends on other aspects from Connected Terminal to be developed. Our team is aware of this and other similar requests and is aiming to explore making it a possible goal in 2023 (nothing guaranteed at this time)

Hi @DebShi - I'd be happy to help. 

 

Are you trying to split payments on the Square Terminal or the Connected Square Terminal

 

Split payments are currently supported on a regular payment on the Terminal.
