Marketing Campaigns Going to Junk Folders

I have a business where the menu changes weekly and use marketing campaigns to let my customers know what the week’s menu is. I recently noticed a decline in sales, including my best and most consistent customers. After checking in with some of my customers, I came to find out the notice were no longer getting into their mailboxes and were being diverted into the junk and promotion folders. While I would expect that a certain amount would be diverted, the change was pretty abrupt and significant. Has anyone else noticed something similar?

Yes - and I believe that it's by design. The internet isn't what it used to be.

Hey there @silvioshomemade 👋

Like @B2BDis said the Internet is constantly changing and Email providers routinely will scan users emails to identify patterns and filter according to their findings. It is normal for Marketing emails to be filtered as promotions by providers like Gmail that aim to make inboxes more productive. Now in regards to junk folders it would be good to have your customers mark your emails as not spam or junk when they arrive so their email provider is aware that they do not need to filter these emails as junk or spam anymore.

I hope this information is helpful!
