Creating Items that "comes with a starter"

Hi there- was wondering if there is any setting or feature between Items and Modifiers that would allow for the selection of a "Main" or "Entree" item, with a modifier for a starter, like a salad to start or soup.

Or will the modifier always show up underneath the main item? Will modifiers be able to get their own print routings?

Anything available similar to a "sub item"?

Creating it as a Combo instead of modifier/option level will put them in any order you want them to show on the KDS/POS/Tickets

I can see how this would be helpful but not sure how to implement it with the current setup
