I just switched to Square Plus and am trying to find out what that gives me AND how to use it. I have some very basic needs that SHOULD be really easy to do but I can not find the place that can tell me how to make them happen.
I need to know how to turn off printed receipts for cash sales - we're a bar and I don't need or want to print a receipt for every beer we sell.
I need to know how to see the new modes and features for the plan I purchased so I can understand & use them.
I have a lot of other questions too but these should be enough to get me started.

Square Plus does add a lot of features to your account, and I agree that it is difficult to explore what all is added. I recommend checking out the sales page and clicking through to see all that is offered for the Plus and Advanced accounts. After that, the help pages are a great resource as is continuing to ask questions here in the community.
As for printing receipts, you can adjust your settings on your device at More -> Settings -> Hardware -> Printers -> Profiles. Find the profile that is enabled and tap on it. Then tap Edit for Profile Details then Receipt. Be sure Prints Receipts is set to Manually.
It sounds like you're a bar, so I recommend using the Restaurants mode on your systems. There are a lot of great F&B features available in the restaurants mode including the ability to Preauth cards.

Adding to the great advice from @ryanwanner ... research about features is where Square AI shines in getting to answers faster. Fire it up when you have specific questions and ask them. You'll usually get an answer and some links to appropriate Square help documentation. Just remember that it is a beta function so like all beta functions it can do unexpected things sometimes.

While I appreciate the responses, none of them have helped to answer my questions. I do not have an option to change receipt printing to manual where the support article sent me & where @ryanwanner suggested in his post.
I tried searching for the answers using AI and that was equally frustrating.
The sales page only says what's in each package & not the features they have & how to use them.
Searching through the support site & the community site is hugely frustrating, extremely time consuming, and often leads no where.
I should be able to search on "square plus" and have a menu of things come up that allow me to drill into the options I need & follow those paths without having to sift through so many posts that have nothing to do with what I need.
So demoralizing
