Strange issues with the latest feature bundle

There are a couple strange issues that we are experiencing with the latest bundle. Hoping you can pass along to engineering or file a bug report.

 

1. Dining options not printing correctly - the FOR HERE and TO GO headers are no longer divided by item and both appear at the top. Screenshot attached.

2. When building an item, the item details are no longer fully visible. The ellipsis makes it difficult to to read back item details of builds and verify before accepting payment. Previously, the details were listed vertically. Photo attached.

3. When adjusting an online order's pickup time, the order loses its name on KDS and is displayed as "ORDER". Photo attached

4. Square Online orders are prematurely being marked as delivered before they are dispatched. I've had several calls this past week from concerns customers who thought their order was lost. Screenshot attached of an order that experienced this today.

Thank you for flagging these @tulanejeff !

  • Dining Options not printing correctly & Order Names disappeared from KDS after an adjustment: Both these issues have been reported by other sellers and the team are working on rolling out a fix for them. I will follow up as soon as I have information on when these are resolved.
  • Item details no longer visible & orders being marked prematurely: I've escalated these to the relevant team and will let you know when I have an update!

Actually, to follow up on the Items details no longer visible issue: this is an intentional design change to accommodate the new live cart & nested beta that are still being tested. From the initial design, nested modifiers add a lot of vertical height to the cart, which can make it a little unwieldy to navigate. 

 

The team are keeping an eye on feedback around this as they come in during beta/testing time, so this has been logged @tulanejeff

Quick update from me on the issue around orders being marked prematurely: I shared the screenshot & details of the order you sent me @tulanejeff but for that specific order, the team is seeing that everything happened in the right order in the log.

 

I want to make sure that we can get to the bottom of this. When you have a moment, could you send me a few other examples & screenshots clearly showing where an order is still being prep (maybe it's still in progress in the KDS station, for example), but the order is already marked as delivered? 

 

if the screenshot contains any identifying information, feel free to send those over private message!

I will document any future orders that experience this bug. I can't recall the order names from this past weekend.

 

They stated that it was marked as delivered on the order update email; or on the order progress website link. When in fact, it was only marked as in progress or ready on the KDS/POS.
