With the update to Restaurant, the add tip function has created a lot of wasted time. We are a full-service restaurant and at the end of the night when the servers are adjusting tips it used to be a screen with all the checks in a row, you could click each add tip do the next etc. Then save when done after doing all your checks. Fast simple efficient.
Now you have to go “paid tab” open each check, hit a button add tip, scroll down add the tip, hit save, then X out. You have to do this to each check individually. Some nights that’s 20+ checks per server. It’s terrible can we get the old way back. Really a downgrade by lot.
Also, another quirk if I go to mark an item on the pos screen either not available or available it will 2/3’s of the time says no connection. But if I go into adjust available where you could add a count, and just hit available or not available it works all the time. Seems like a glitch
Last thing we had an update pushed that changed courses from course 1, course 2 etc to Starter, Entrees it sucked and thankfully Square pulled it back to course 1 course 2 etc. Please leave it like it is there were other problems when it went starters, entrees like where items went, what course was highlighted, we do more than 2 courses, I won't get into since it's back to course 1 course 2 course 3 etc. But please leave it alone
