I run a campground where we review each reservation made in our system manually and then enter manual invoicing for each reservation into Square. Lots of reasons for this but that is not the question. Like a few others I am looking for a work around to the lack of Square ability to create a discount that automatically expires.
I want to encourage invoices to be paid before the check in date, but because reservations can be made at any time for any future stay, when the invoice is created I need a discount that I can enter the expiration date at time of entry. It needs to expire set number of days before the stay/invoice due date not a set number of days after the invoice is created. Or I need a variable date discount that the expiration can be set when entered on each invoice.
Is there any workarouind for this missing feature in Square?
