I Want to ASK Square AI to Run My Daily Operations – Not Just Search Menus Request

Instead of going into Square to manually check calendars and reports, I want to be able to ask Square AI operational questions in plain language and receive real, actionable answers.

For example, I would like to ask:

 

  • “How many clients have confirmed today and how many are still unconfirmed?”
    So I can immediately know who needs a follow-up call or text, and be prepared to fill their slot if they no-show—without opening or viewing the calendar.

 

  • “Which appointments today require cameras to be turned off in the room?”
    For privacy-sensitive services such as Brazilian waxes, facials, or any form of body waxing.

 

  • “How many openings do we have for the rest of this week?”
    And even better—forecast the next three weeks and tell me:

    • Which days are underbooked

    • What services we should push

    • Recommendations I can share with staff to drive bookings.

 

  • “Who are the clients that visited within the last 6 weeks for lashes but haven’t returned?”
    So I know exactly who to reach out to in order to fill upcoming slots.

  • Ideally, Square AI could also contact those clients directly to invite them back based on the timeframe I request.

 

  • “Which technicians received a 48-hour repair/callback in the last 4 weeks?”
    To help me monitor service quality and identify training needs.

 

  • “Which technician needs to improve product sales?”
    AI should be able to review sales history and show who is not retailing effectively.

I want Square AI to learn my business over time—not feel like a generic assistant.

  • Remember what is important to my company

  • Understand our services, privacy rules, and internal policies

  • Work consistently across multiple logins

  • Feel like an AI that knows our spa’s history and priorities, not just a one-time chatbot.

My goal is to manage my business through conversation instead of digging through reports and screens.

Hi @Cassieandre , I agree! I use AI agents quite a bit in my side marketing business and have found Square AI to be behind compared to what agents can do (including, like you mentioned, remembering the details of previous queries). I am hopeful that either a) Square will partner with a company that has already mastered using agents in this way and can integrate it or b) continue working on their platform so it isn't so far behind other platforms.

Square AI feels like I'm talking to a toddler.  It is highly frustrating and completely worthless for our needs in its current state.  i have better luck getting claude to view my data and provide insights that way.
