Geo Fencing for staff clock out not working

Hey Team.  I've done a search but can't find an answer easily.  We have some staff that are able to clock out well past their shift finish time and from home which is outside our geofencing set up.  Does Geo fencing not work when clocking out?  Is it possible to make a change so staff have to clock out from their location and not able to do it from home?

I read somewhere and now can't find - another user having trouble with clocking out - @TheRealChipA I think you use this or I read your answer about this a while back we ended up deciding to use Jibble and a cheapo tablet so we could use facial recognition after reading about some flaws in geo fencing - not just with Square but with other tracking apps as well.

@Eddiemunster As I recall, geofencing does not work when clocking out.  This feature was set up specifically to keep employees from clocking in early, say for example to get paid for travel time.  I did a little research and can't find that it applies to clocking out (even though Square AI implies this is possible, Square AI is hallucinating! Ha).

Anyway, even if the option was there, you might not want to enable it.  Why?  Then what happens when an employee forgets to clock out but remembers when they get home?  At least now they can clock out and then request a schedule change.  Another case would be if you have auto-clock-out enabled where geofencing clock-outs could possibly cause issues with the employee trying to correct an erroneous auto clock-out.

Regardless, geofencing restrictions currently only work with clock-ins.

Thanks @TheRealChipA that's what I suspected from other threads and also from the setup.  Thanks for sharing and letting me know.
