A client of mine “accidentally” disputed her charge 3 weeks after i did her hair. Reason was “unknown charge” i reached out to that client & have text proof of her saying she didn’t mean to & her bank is doing this & that “i’m not the only one this happened to” not sure how that happens. Square is not responding after i sent the text messages & apparently they don’t answer the phone. Has this happened to anyone & how long did it take them? should she just sent me the money back?
Huh, @tkaye . This is really interesting. I didn't think it was that easy to dispute a charge.
I've only had one dispute, but you have the opportunity to provide reasons as to why the dispute would not be valid. Submitting those text messages should be sufficient to have the dispute denied.
I think it took 3 weeks for the "investigation" to be completed. You should see a link on your Dashboard for updates.
