Automatic Gratuity

After the most recent update, adding an automatic gratuity to a bill now prompts the server to select our preset percentage or to enter a manual percentage - there is never a situation where the automatic gratuity should change, especially by an employee who isn't logged in with manager permissions. Would love an option to return to the old workflow where for servers automatic gratuity is either enabled or disabled, no other options. Thanks

I can definitely see why this would be frustrating. If your business always uses the same automatic gratuity percentage, having staff confirm or re-enter it on every transaction adds unnecessary steps and increases the risk of accidental changes.

I think an optional setting to lock the automatic gratuity percentage, or to allow only managers to modify it, would be a great compromise. That would preserve the previous workflow for businesses that rely on a fixed service charge while still allowing flexibility for those who need it.
