shipping options need to be more robust

The shipping options desperately need an overhaul.

We have only one realtime rate that works at a time. So we cannot offer more than one shipper option. 

We can't have a free shipping over $300 while also having a rule for oversize shipments always having a fee.

This is a massive problem for our business staying competitive with similar companies having much better options for shipping.

We need free shipping over $300 purchase

that still has EXCEPTIONS of oversize/overweight items that need to take precendent if added to the cart.

I've talked to square about this numerous times and they've blatantly told me what I want is impossible. It seems crazy to me a company as massive as square cannot work out an oversize fee that is functional.

(yes I'm aware there is a functionality for it - but no it does not work properly - which has been confirmed to me by square multiple times)
