coupon codes

right now coupon codes are only allowed to be used during check out - if I, the provider uses the code while checking the customer out.  

Currently the client has NO ability to plug in their code during their booking of the appointment.

Example - if I give free eyebrows as a sale and add code : hello

where would the client be able to plug in their code to book their FREE eyebrows??

I feel like you guys give us abilities - but with only half the functionality of said feature. 🤔. Please allow coupons to work fro both - the entrepreneur who uses square and the client .

I am new to square and dumbfounded that there is no way to add a coupon option within the booking flow. Please tell me I am just missing the how to on this.

Unfortunately, Square has paid little attention to this part of the booking flow. While the platform is generally great, it’s missing key details that make a huge difference for both business owners and clients.

The common response I’ve seen is that Square is primarily a payment processor, not a booking app. But as someone who has been with Square for 8 years, I find this frustrating. Instead of improving the built-in booking flow, Square encourages users to download and manage yet another app—Acuity—which can feel overwhelming, redundant, and counterproductive for long-time Square users.

It would be much more valuable if Square refined its own booking system to include features like coupon code entry during appointment scheduling. This would benefit both entrepreneurs and clients by making promotions seamless and functional in the booking process, not just at checkout.
