I use Square for my payment processing and website. But I use Acuity/Squarespace for my appointment scheduling. I would love to use Square for all of my needs. However, Square does not yet offer a way to allow subscriptions for services in Appointments. Will this ever be an option for service providers? The workaround for this is terrible. I have to literally create the same services that I have as bookable appointments as items to allow subscriptions. Then it’s only available in my online store! However, it does no good because once the Client purchases the subscription, the online store and appointments are not synced to work with each other so I have to manually track who purchases a subscription and I have to manually put in their appointment myself because if they go into the appointment scheduler, they will be required to pay for the service. Acuity/Squarespace allows me to set up subscriptions for my services. Like I have three different tiers for facial subscriptions. And they include certain services and discounts on products and things like that. I would suggest this in the near future for Square Appointments Square can simply look at Acuity and see what I’m talking about as far as how easy it is to set up subscriptions for services and the client can still go in and book their appointment and use their code for their subscription.
