Self-checkout Kiosk through Square online

I'm currently using the Self-serve ordering feature through Square online but I need to have the option for customers to self-checkout with an ipad or other tablet since not everyone owns a smartphone and can scan a QR code. Every 3rd party option that I am seeing charges subscription fees that are completely ridiculous for small businesses. Is this a feature you plan to add in anytime in the near or distant future? I've seen that many people have requested this in the last few years and there hasn't been a good answer to the question and square sellers are always redirected back to the QR code scan self-serve feature. Is there a reason why this feature is not built-in?

@tinybreadbox This is a relatively new feature for square with the self serve ordering.  You could always use restricted access mode on an ipad to let people access your self serve menu on the tablet and complete transactions.  It would require them to manually enter their credit card information and check out, you are just providing the device access and internet.

FlashOrder offers a kiosk application for about 50$ a month.  It is one of the most reasonable I have seen.  You couldn't pay a cashier to stand there for that each month and take orders.

Each time a customer goes to checkout on the tablet in restricted or guided access mode, it would not refresh to the main menu for the next customer and that is a problem. I'm not looking for work arounds that only accomplish a partial solution for my business and many others that need this feature.

FlashOrder has the lowest monthly subscription cost that I've seen but they also charge 25 cents for each transaction fee. I am already paying transaction fees to Square. I started this thread to bring it to the developer's attention and I am not looking for expensive 3rd party options.
