Round Up for Charity

We need a round-up for charity option on our Square systems--calculator workarounds are impractical. Almost every business in my community (except those using Square) are rounding up. It has become a way to demonstrate that your business cares about non-profits in the community. 

In looking back through old, locked threads. This feature was requested as far back as 2019. Throughout the past five years, the response has been that the design team is aware of the request. I think what might be helpful is for Square to tell users why it has not happened. Is it software limitations or is it related to the processing of funds?

It would be easier for me to accept that round-up will mostly likely never happen if I knew why.

Developers are spending too much time improving small stuff that isn't that important.  Dynamics and visual presentation is nice to look at but it doesn't satisfy the need for something to run a proper retail brick and mortar store or a non profit.  Get the round up installed on Square!  You guys are better than this. Why is it so difficult?  You have over a 120 threads and comments requesting this feature for five years and we are still behind the power curve.

I have seen 6 years of Threads asking for Round-Up for Charity option. 

Please prioritize this development.

I really just want to stop using pennies. Canada doesn't use them any longer and neither should we. It's unreasonable that our POS cannot do this.

Are we any closer to getting a round up feature?  I am about to switch POS systems because it has been years of requesting this feature and NO answers or even an app to fix the problem....most all other platforms have it...i have been using square for almost 10 years,...but I am OUT!!

I 100% agree this is pretty insane they can't figure it out. I mean the script to create something that does math based on the current total and automates the calculator to add a variable amount to increase the current transaction to the nearest whole dollar and label that increase as a donation sounds pretty easy. You have people in this comment section providing free 3rd party apps and donating their time to solve this request and a company that is charging us at least a few 100$ a month to use them - that sounds like an issue to me.

Yeah, this one’s way overdue. donation option would be huge for stores and charities, probably.
