Remove the mandatory "Stay in touch" toggle and section on the checkout page

Many of my clients find this request intrusive. We are a small business catering to our local community. I was told by your chat support that it is not currently possible to remove the "stay in touch" section. I would be good to be able to remove that section entirely if so desired. Thank you.

strangely under customer input settings there is a toggle that seems to indicate that one could take off the stay in touch section but it does not lead to the desired result. See screenshots below.Screenshot 2026-02-01 125744.png
