Real-Time Check View - Navigation Is More Complex

Instead of feeling guided through the order, it feels easier to lose your place.

It seemed like before there were two ways to move between modifier groups: selecting a modifier group directly, or automatically moving to the next required group after making a selection.

Now there's a third way by scrolling through the page. While the added flexibility may be useful, our team found it makes the workflow more complex and less intuitive and confusing. Instead of feeling guided through the order, it feels easier to lose your place.

Recommendation / Possible Solution

A configurable setting to disable continuous scrolling and use a more guided navigation workflow would help simplify the experience for teams that prefer it.

Hey Justin,

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm not sure if you may have found it, but actually under Checkout settings > Item details, you can turn on / off the 'auto progression' feature, which would remove the automatic scrolling to the next modifier group.

Please keep the feedback coming and let us know if that settings change helps.

Thanks @svanbrunt , the auto-advance feature is very important for us (in both layouts), and we like it. My main point of this ticket is to express our frustration with the increased complexity - finding the modifiers you need, moving around in the UI - generally feels more difficult. A large part of this is my other ticket, where the modifiers are in just 1 giant list now: Modifiers Difficult to View in Isolation & how the mod. group pills are too small and horiztonal now: Small Nav Pills & Navigation is Less Intuitive
