Dear Square Team,
I would like to request a new feature for Square Appointments that allows businesses to require prepayment or held credit card in case of no show, from specific customers before booking an appointment.
Feature Details:
The ability to mark certain customers as requiring prepayment / CC on hold before confirming their appointment.
Flexibility to enable or disable this requirement on a per-customer basis.
Integration with existing Square payment methods for seamless transactions.
Why This Is Important:
Many businesses, including mine, experience last-minute cancellations and no-shows, which impact revenue & scheduling efficiency. Having the ability to require prepayment / CC on hold for select customers, rather than applying a blanket rule to all, would provide a customizable solution to mitigate losses while maintaining flexibility for trusted clients.
I appreciate your consideration of this feature and would love to know if it is something Square can implement.
