Please include a feature where we can select multiple items and add it to one "preorder profile" instead of going in and applying the pre order setting to each individual item
Hi @RRDS , that’s an excellent feature request. We appreciate you sharing your business use case and why it would be valuable for you. If you know of any fellow Seller Community members who would like to see this built out as well, feel free to tag them in your post so they can share their thoughts as well! The more sellers chime in to the request, the more likely it is to catch our product team's eye.

I have a collection that we presale multiple times per year. There are 200 items in the collection and I have to manually add the presale information to each item. It would be nice to have it as a bulk edit feature where I could select the entire collection and bulk edit the presale information.
It would be nice to have the ability to add not only what you ask for. And also, for example, to add not a range of dates, but several dates. I am a Square web designer and my clients often ask to add several dates for pre-order, especially with the floristry business this is necessary. For example, they need bouquets for graduations pre-ordered on April 12, then on May 9-10. But this cannot be posted.
I'm a relatively new Square user, about 7 months in - there's a lot of quirks and navigating around to make everything work and display how I want it to appear in reports, POS and the website. I'm in the plant nursery industry and setting up seasonal preorders is the most tedious and time consuming task in square.
Most item attributes can be bulk edited, but preorder, click into every single one, set the preorder info, again and again and again and again, oops missed that one, next one...makes no sense.
Plants aren't manufactured, living products have variable seasons, health, agricultural inspections, carrier delays - preorders for my products are at best a two week window guesstimate. It should be as simple as toggle a button to enable an item for pre-order, and if there is a hard stop date/time that is no longer available for preorder then one can be added.
If I guess that my inventory will arrive on December 5th, but it gets delayed by a week because the department of ag is overloaded then I have to go into every single preorder and modify the dates so customers can still order before the arrival. Then I have to go in again and remove so customers can purchase remaining inventory once the product arrives.
There also needs to be an ability to add policies specifically for preorders vs general online sales.
