Permissions to add Team Members to Payroll and onboarding

Permissions to add Team Members to Payroll and onboarding

Currently I need my store managers to add their own team members to their store location however there's a team permissions limitation preventing them from doing so and adding their team members to payroll. According to square support this option is not available unless I give them full admin access to our account which defeats the purpose of giving them limited access to their location only. I would like to be able to give a manager permissions to add an onboard new team members so it doesn't fall on me as an owner to do it for them.

My account only has one location, but I still see the need for this feature.  I think that there are many sellers who need location-based payroll permissions for their location managers.

To add, I think it'd be nice to add a payroll permission in general. My accountants run my payroll for me, and they can't do it unless I grant FULL access to everything... Wish there was just a payroll permission because they also need access to the tax documents that fall under payroll as well... Sellers have been asking for this feature for 7+ years with no update..

We also need this feature and it is very odd that it does not exist.  How can it be that sellers all around the world cannot grant the ability, for anyone other than full admin/owner, to run payroll or onboard team members?

I agree that there should be

  1. another permissions level to be able to access the Team Members information WITHOUT seeing pay rates.
  2. another permission level to be able to process payroll and only access payroll functionality.

I had to give a manager that I don't want to have full access to the businss control (only because I'm fearful that they will screw something up) in order to allow them to run payroll.  Not good.
