Payment options for classes

I own a fitness studio and we *want* to use square but we need to have the same payment options as we have for services- I need my students to be able to sign up online but have the option to pay in person with a gift card, cash, or card, and I need the ability to give discounts/coupons.

Right now the ONLY way to let people sign up and pay in person is to set the class fee to $0. If I set the class fee to $10 then it requires them to pay online and gives me no option to discount anything for anyone and no option for cash paying customers.

The lack of functionality is causing me to explore other studio management options but I really would prefer to stick with Square if these things get fixed.

I completely agree this is a necessary feature! The suggestion to speakers to the teachers of the classes is also terrific, because currently the Google Calendar integration does not work for classes and the staff assigned to teach a class have no idea that the class is in their calendar without manually checking the Square system, and there is no option to receive any sort of notification when someone registers for or cancels their registration in a class, both of which would improve the usability of this feature significantly.

Any updates on this feature?

Multiple payment options (cash, card, cashapp, afterpay) and the ability to add discounts is pretty typical for any business offering classes. I'd love to see that happen in Square! Currently, I cannot mark students as paid if they paid in cash or got a discount.

Would also be wonderful to have a class tab on the left side of the screen, like appointments & items have. It's rough stuff trying to remember a class date to find it on the calendar when a customer is inquiring, trying to sign up, or pay. I think anyone running multiple classes and other services would agree.

Also, I'd love to be able to see class sales separately in the reports section.
