Pay employees from different Bank Accounts

Hello,

Gusto as well as other payroll softwares allow corporations to pay their employees from different bank accounts.

For accounting purposes, this of utmost importance if multiple locations are being used--so as to accurately track wages by location and so that extra work creating inter-company liabilities is avoided.

Please enable us to select which bank account we would like to pay employees from.

We cannot simply set up a new payroll account (we tried). We have multiple DBA's under the same overarching corporation, and so, they share an EIN number. Because of this, square does not let us set up the new payroll account; even if we were have to set up another payroll account with the same EIN, our employees would have to receive multiple W-2's at the end of the year in the year of switch, and their may be duplicate filings of form 941.

The simple solution is to do two payroll runs with our Single Square Payroll account--with this new feature of selecting the bank account:

Run 1: Pay from bank 7892

- John

- Louis

- Tom

Run 2: Pay from bank 5183

- Andrew

- Craig

This allows for proper accounting and for taxes to come out of the right bank account.

As of now, it would take two days for us to use micro-deposit verification to switch between bank accounts. We want to do payroll and give our beloved employees their paychecks without hassle.

Best,

Sebastian
