I have multiple needs for this feature.
Use 1 - A big seller on our website is jars of honey. They are set up as buy 1 for X, 2 for Y, 12 for Z. I am unable to offer a '10% off your entire order' sale because square does not allow the coupons to stack. Even if there is an additional item in the cart that does not have a pre-existing discount, once an automatic discount is applied, I can do not a %off discount as well. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE this ability, my pricing schema is set up for it.
Use 2 - This is the time of year I get a lot of people asking to do fundraisers with us. Historically, I have been able to assign a %off coupon code to an organization (ie, ORG1), and at the end of the sale period review the orders that used that code and calculate the earnings to send to the organization. Several organizations could run fundraisers at the same time, since each code would be different. With Square, I cannot assign a %off code for ANY purpose, including tracking purposes. My fundraisers have become more special runs with personalized labels, which take more time and effort from my staff.
Use 3 - The Square email has a way to send out a percent off coupon to stagnant customers (ie, customers who have not visited us for more than 60 days). It sets up bad customer relations when we send out a coupon people can't use, since it is common for our customers to purchase two jars of honey, which has an automatic discount on it that renders the universal %off coupon void. Would like to send these customers a standard %off coupon that works.
Can you make this happen, and sooner than later please?
