Looks like my previous feature request from 2021 for this has been archived. Just resurfacing with some more specific integration ideas that would be amazing.
Most businesses I work with use Microsoft over Google for their email and filing systems. It'd be great to be able to integrated with Microsoft 365 in a similar way as Square already does with Google.
Ideas:
1. Outlook Email Integration
- Sync customer appointment confirmations and reminders with Outlook
- Sync customer contact information into Outlook
- Allow sending invoices or receipts directly through Outlook using your business email address
2. Microsoft Teams Integration
- Push appointment notifications or order updates into Teams channels
- Enable quick messaging between staff when changes occur in Square Appointments or POS
3. SharePoint / OneDrive file storage
- Automatically store customer files / notes, receipts, invoices, or reports in OneDrive for easy access and backup
- Share files securely with team members or accountants
4. Excel data syncing
- Direct syncing of Square sales reports into Excel Online for automated reporting
5. Power BI
- Connect Square data to Power BI for custom dashboards and deeper insights
- Visualise trends across sales, appointments, and inventory in real time
6. Microsoft To Do / Planner
- Convert Square tasks (like order fulfilment or appointment prep) into actionable items in Microsoft To Do or Planner
- Keep staff aligned on daily priorities
