We've been open for just under two years now and with a complete year under our belt we set about creating a set of performance reports that would help us fine tune our business. As a commissioned based hair salon we pay our employees based on the sales they deliver. The salon has a good reputation locally and attracts a lot of new clients so it's then on team members to retain the new clients. We want to provide transparency to our employees so they have a better idea of their own performance on an ongoing basis Here are a few reports that we have to create manually in pursuit of that goal:
1) Number of net new clients/ Monthly/ BiWeekly
2) Number of clients that only made 1 visit in specific timeframe/ 2 visits/ 3 visits etc.
3) Sales trends (over user defined timeline) at the employee level vs. business level
4) Category sales trends (over user defined timeline) at the employee level & business level.
