๐Ÿ“Š Feature Request: Internal Client Reliability Score (Private)

Iโ€™d love to see a private, internal-only Client Reliability Score built into Square.

This score would be visible only to the seller and based on:

โ€ข No-shows

โ€ข Late cancellations

โ€ข Chronic lateness

โ€ข Rescheduled appointments

Important: This score would not be visible to clients.

Why this matters:

Service providers currently rely on memory, notes, or spreadsheets to track problematic booking behavior. A simple internal indicator would:

โ€ข Help assess booking risk quickly

โ€ข Inform deposit or card-on-file requirements

โ€ข Protect income and schedule integrity

Even a basic system (Low / Medium / High Risk) would be incredibly valuable and would reduce emotional decision-making.

Yes this would be great... or even a little section that easily shows how many negative things they have had, in an area that you see when you go to approve the appointment. Like on the appointment overview page. We have a policy of, after 2 no call/no shows, you aren't allowed to book anymore. But there's no actual way to ban the from booking or any way to see that without taking steps to check every time someone books.

Hi @Vanilla
Awesome suggestion!

@arickrtattoos Yes, exactly this. A visible indicator right on the appointment overview would be a game-changer.

A simple internal snapshot (even just counts or a Low / Medium / High risk flag) would eliminate the need to dig through notes or history every time someone books. Right now, enforcing policies like no-show limits requires extra manual checks, which defeats the purpose of having guardrails built into the system.

Having this baked into the booking approval flow would protect schedules and revenue without adding more admin work.

@mitin Thank you! Appreciate that ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

This is one of those features that would quietly make a huge difference for service providers, especially solo owners. Anything that reduces manual tracking and emotional decision-making around bookings is a win.

Hello, when I create a client I have the ability to put them into groups.  I do have a group for our more "prickly" clients.  I also have a group for clients who are deceased.  the group feature is a helpful reference.

@ehflower  Thatโ€™s definitely a good workaround and I know many sellers use groups, notes, or tags today. My goal going forward is to push for native Square features that eliminate the need for workarounds altogether.

Right now, a lot of core workflows rely on manual tagging, memory, or extra steps; and workarounds ultimately mean more manual labor for sellers. An internal reliability indicator would streamline decision making and reduce the operational overhead that comes with managing bookings at scale.
