Discounting items on online Store

Hello, Can anyone help me please . I applied a discount on all my items on my online store and it is not showing up when you add it to cart or check out . What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having trouble with discounts.

 

It sounds as though you may have actually set up discounts for Square Point of Sale, which unfortunately won't carry across to Square Online websites.

 

For context, Square Online uses a coupon system for discounting, while Square Point of Sale makes use of the discount system.

Hi Seamus, thanks for your advice regarding this.  I noticed the same thing on my Square online store.  Is there any way we can get the shopping cart to simply automatically calculate a discount based on quantity without relying on a customer to enter a code?

There's not at the moment unfortunately - the only other possible alternative to using coupons on the Square Online platform would be to mark items at a sale price via the Square Online listing of the item. Coupons are still your best bet here as marking a sales price doesn't have the same breadth of functionality as Discounts or Coupons.

Thanks Seamus.  Unfortunately this still doesn't motivate customers to buys higher volumes though as the incentive is applied from the first sale.  Thanks for the advice though, much appreciated.
