In Dashboard, go to Settings, then Device Management, then find the specific device you want to change. Click on that device and a window will pop up on the right. In the "Applications used" section, click "Manage" next to "Square for Restaurants." Click the ">" next to "App theme." Now you can select "Dark theme."
I don't see this option for the standard Square POS, only on Square for Restaurants.
I would like this for the dashboard in web browser, mobile app on Android, as well as the Terminal POS. This is a basic vision accessibility feature and should not be only for Square for Restaurants.
YES. PLEASE, for the love of all of our future vision problems give us a basic dark mode, especially when the option already exists for some users!
We have used Square for over 10 years, and would have loved a dark mode on Android, PC, and POS. That would save us a bunch of battery life on our Androids, too.
Just switched to Square for our arcade business which is naturally low-light. The Square screen is like staring into the sun in our environment. Dark mode should be a necessity for all plans and modes.
