Creating An Item

When creating an item there is no option to add the Vendor. Our scanner is attached to the registered and when we are adding new merchandise to the POS we scan the new SKU and enter in all the required information to create the new item - we then have to go to the Square Dashboard to enter the Vendor name.

Ya it would be great to have all the options for entering items into the system the same across all platforms. Why did we pay so much for a Square register if it has less features? You can't even do stock counts on the register or the dashboard.
