Cash deposits

Should be able to make cash deposits from sales from my business

Hi Beskswrecks,

I believe that presently Cash deposits has to be handled through "your" bank account.  There is a way to deposit checks however, not Cash.  Could be a Feature Request for now.

(While Square is not a bank, funds deposited in a Square Checking account are FDIC-protected up to $250,000. Square Checking services are provided by Sutton Bank, Member FDIC.)

I agree. I don’t have a bank and only use Venmo or my square account. There needs to be a way to support cash deposits. I prefer to not have a lot of different accounts to handle.

Cash deposits are already available in Square, but only through the Square POS app. Just click on Balance, then click Add Money. You will be informed of available deposit locations, then the app will walk you through the steps to complete your deposit. Once completed, cash deposits should appear in your account immediately.
