Bulk upload photos with photo link

We sell holiday decor and upload hundreds of new items each season.  We need the feature that allows photo uploads by spreadsheet by entering the photo link.  This was an option we had on Bigcommerce and would save many hours of time when creating new products.

Hi @twilightholiday , that’s an excellent feature request. We appreciate you sharing your business use case and why it would be valuable for you. If you know of any fellow Seller Community members who would like to see this built out as well, feel free to tag them in your post so they can share their thoughts as well! The more sellers chime into the request, the more likely it is to catch our product team's eye.

We have a gift shop and would also like to see this option. We have lots of seasonal products and we also upload a ton of them as seasons change. Bulk uploads would save me TONS of time.

Thanks,

Stuart

I don't see why you would even need more users to tell you why this is important @Square

Anyone with over a hundred items is going to waste a ton of time when they likely already have the information there, and organized, but with no way to transition it into the POS. I was under the assumption that if my filenames matched my item number it would automatically link but in reality it only got about 50% of my test items correct - in other words I'm better off doing it 100% manually so as not to miss anything.

I am opening a new business (have used Square with others) and have an inventory of about 1000 skus. I should be able to import a picture URL or at the very least your system should be smart enough to link 12345.jpg with item 12345 instead of whatever AI guess it uses now. I have so many other things deserving of my time trying to open a new business than remedial data entry on what is supposed to be a top tier POS solution.
