Booking multiple people at the same time (beauty/salon)

Coming from a nail salon perspective. I’d appreciate if clients could find and book appointments for multiple people at the same time. We often have clients that want to come in with a friend or partner for different services and at the same time but aren’t able to find availability with square’s online booking.

This would greatly improve client-business communication and increase traffic with clients looking to bring in a friend (who could potentially become clients in the future).

I’d imagine this feature would provide the option to add people to their booking and the square system would acknowledge that the appointment being requested is for 2 or more people and find times in our schedule where the same number of techs are available at the same time.

Just a note, I’ve seen this request before and it was marked delivered with the Class booking feature but I don’t think this applies for salons. We aren’t offering classes and aren’t opening classes for people to attend just hoping clients can find time to come in as a group.

Thanks for responding, but unfortunately my confidence in Square is pretty low

I have seen open requests here for almost 10 years that have not been worked on

These are basic functions and not some ground breaking innovation that customers are asking for

So for Square not to care and even implement them says a lot

Any update on this, seems to be "feature requests" are becoming the normal response for fixing functionality from square
But there is no timeline on any of those to be resolved

Square needs to do better, this kind of support is not sustainable and people are going to get frustrated and leave the platform
