Feature Request: Bulk Editing Custom Attributes

Hi, it would be helpful to us to add the supplier to each item so that we can search by supplier for re-ordering purposes. It looks like adding a custom attribute is the best way to do this but it also appears that we will need to do this item by item.

I was hoping to be able to export the library, change the attribute, then import the library again. Could we have this feature added? Or possibly something similar so that I can get this job done a lot quicker?

At the moment, Custom Attributes is not included in the export item library so there isn't a way to bulk edit it for items. It's definitely something I will share with our Product team as a feature request.

In the meantime, have you had a chance to look at Square for Retail Plus? With Square for Retail Plus, you'll be able to manage vendor (supplier) and be able to bulk import them as well. You can read more about vendor management with Square for Retail in our Support Centre.

I have looked at Square for Retail. Unfortunately it goes from free to $60 a month. The free version is not worth changing for and the paid for version is WAY too expensive. Half that and I might be interested but $60 a month is far too much just for the added features.
