Yes! It works very well for me!
When I had my cafe, I launched the google review automation as soon as it was available. Within a month I had over 40 new five star reviews! I launched it for my new coffee roasterie about two weeks ago and have already seen 4 new reviews.
The thing I like most about the google review automation is that it is selective in who gets the email. Your customer has to visit 7(?) times or leave positive feedback. If they've come back in that many times chances are they like your product and will leave a good review, and with the feedback they've already are leaving good reviews so they should leave a good review on Google too.
