In Square Marketing - when did the ability to change font color in a Text block go away?

For years, we have had the ability to change not only font size and style, but also font color within a Text block in Square Marketing when creating an email campaign. That option for changing color is no longer showing. I was first told by support that this is a browser issue on my end and was told to clear my cache. Of course that didn't work (and I tried using both Chrome and Safari). After I lost contact with the first agent while clearing my cache, a new agent told me that it was an "internal" change to software. It is not included on any release notes and he would put this through as a feature request (a feature that existed but was removed?). 

Anyone know if this is truly a change, a bug, a browser issue, etc?

Came here with the same issue. We have three people with access to doing our newsletter and each has the same problem, so it's definitely not a browser issue. Hopefully there is a fix soon because I don't pay that monthly fee to lose features.

It's not a browser issue.  It's them making changes without asking anyone if it's what we need.  Same with connecting an online store item.  I added the box, then decided I'd rather use a coupon this month.  No matter what I did, I couldn't delete the product box.... no red "x", trash can, or toolbar appeared.  Spent 20 minutes before chatting with tech support, and they couldn't figure it out either. I had to leave the box but swap out to a much smaller picture.  I think they're using AI, and no one is checking behind.  Some of the logic is gone.    I pay for this service, but it's frustrating when things disappear for no reason.  Tech support doesn't know how to fix it because it was AI-generated

No, you're not losing it😁. That's just one of many things they deleted or changed.   Definitely frustrating when you want to add a bit of color and interest to a mailer...smh.

One of the most frustrating things about Square is they NEVER send out release notes of updated 'enhancements.' 

The ability to add color is gone from Marketing. Why?

The ability to go to the ITEM DETAIL SCREEN is gone. Why?

It almost seems like they have no idea how we operate.

Any update on this? If not, I'll be needing a refund for this service. It's literally such a small capability that makes a BIG difference. Did we go back to the 90s? I don't want my newsletter in all black? Will not help our sales, but hurt them, and in turn, hurt you, Square. Hurry up and fix it!

We just sent out an email and there was a “configure” button that allowed change of font 🙂 We didn’t utilize color so I can’t speak on that.

Honestly will be looking a new marketing company to use for emails. With all pricing increasing regularly, taking away liked features is not smart. This is not an improvement, not received well, and will lose Square income.

This is absolutely ridiculous. How do you take features away from users like this? Our newsletter looks terrible as a result. We'll be going back to constant contact.

So glad to see this here, and that I'm not the only one wanting to change the color of the font on my newsletters. I spent an hour trying to figure it out the other day.. thinking I'm missing something, since I've always done it in the past. I emailed Square, but haven't heard back, its been a week. 

Please bring back the ability to change font color!

To everyone following this thread.  Here is a link to a feature request that was submitted requesting this change.  I upvoted it and added comments, but figured others might want to do so as well.  I'm not a fan of preaching to Square or anyone, but I agree with the basic request so I can support it.  The more people who upvote it, and who add HELPFUL comments and not just general complaints, the better the chance that it will be scheduled to get corrected.
