Feature Request: How to send loyalty promotions without it linking to a website

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "How to send loyalty promotions without it linking to a website"

Hi! Is it possible to set up a discount or promotion in square marketing without it linking to a square website? I currently do not have a square website but each time I try to set up an offer it provides a link in the promo message to a square website. How do I get rid of this?

Hey! Great question โ€” and youโ€™re not alone, this comes up a lot. Right now, when you create a promotion in Square Marketing, it automatically generates a link to a basic Square-hosted landing page, even if you donโ€™t use a full Square website. Unfortunately, there isnโ€™t a built-in way to remove that link from the promo email or message.

If you donโ€™t want customers clicking the link, one workaround is to customize the message and just focus on the code or offer details, telling customers to redeem it in-store or at checkout โ€” and just ignore the link. You could also use a tool like Canva to design a flyer-style email instead of using the pre-built promo template.

Totally valid feedback though โ€” itโ€™d be great if Square gave us the option to not include that link. Definitely worth submitting as a feature request!

Thanks for stepping in to help and provide this workaround, @Stacelyn24๐ŸŒŸ

I looked for the Square Marketing Ideate Board, and didn't find a feature request for this, so feel free to submit one here@Kelrocks55๐Ÿ™‚
