Custom Forms and auto-populating Marketing?

Our newsletter sign-up form automatically populates into the audience available to send marketing info to for email - our audience has grown by leaps and bounds with Square's opt-in and our readership has jumped as well.

Here's my question - We have a custom form - with more info about the customer's previous ceramic experience etc that is on our waitlist sign-up page. It does not automatically populate into the available audiences tab because it doesn't have an opt-in like the newsletter - for now we are capturing emails in a google sheet - and sending a confirmation to the wait-list as well as the opt-in link and emails to add to make sure Square sent marketing gets through.

Hopefully that makes sense but is there a way to do both in one or add the opt-in to the custom form without it being separate blocks on the site?

Hey there, @MudFire_Dex -

Welcome back to the Community!

I want to make sure I am understanding what you're looking for when it comes to your custom form. You want it to be able to be a one-stop shop essentially, correct? You would like it to gather the email address from the customer and allow them to opt in for marketing from you business?

Please let me know if I missed the mark on what you're looking for. I will keep an eye out for your reply👀

Yes, because we tell them to opt-in but some don't and we're relying on a Google doc to track so I'd like them to not be able to submit the wait-list info without opting,-in. Can it be required to submit the rest of the form? Thanks @Kassi_
