enabling tap and pay

I’m new to Square I’m trying to get tap and pay enabled but I am being asked to connect hardware. I want tap and pay on my phone which does not require hard way anybody help

Do you have an Android device? If so, you can down the Point of Sale app now and start using Tap to Pay with the steps listed here
