Why do some of my items have the shipping option but others are only showing pick up?

I have added items to my square and when I go to the website it is showing them all but only some have the option for shipping when you click on it, I have checked settings and they are all the same for the items, i have even deleted the items that aren’t showing shipping and re added but still isn’t coming up as an option so I’m very confused.

Hi @Rhi-n-codesigns, I'd like to wish you a warm welcome to the Seller Community 🙂.

It's tough to pinpoint what is happening here without checking your website settings. Could you share your website URL and some example of items only displaying shipping and other only showing pick-up ?

 

  1. If you'd like to offer the same fulfillment method(s) for all your items, you can bulk edit them from your Online Overview page :
    Go to Website then Site Items
  2. Select all your items
  3. Click on Bulk Edit on the right, then Set Fulfillment
  4. Select the desired method(s) then Save


It might also be worthwhile checking your default fulfillment method :

  1. On your Square Online Overview page, go to Settings or Shared Settings 
  2. Click on Checkout
  3. Scroll down the bottom to Advanced Settings
  4. Click on Edit if you need to change the default fulfillment

I have discovered in the past that items created inside a purchase order do not follow the "default fulfillment" settings. I havn't tested it in awhile, but that could be a cause.
