I've added items and put in a description. But I don't see it as a customer. Is there something I've forgotten to do?
cheers
Alan
I've found it (you have to edit the web page) but when I enable it, it also adds shipping information, which I didn't want.
Can this be a separate item to add or not?
Alan
I think I see what's going on. If there is nothing under the 'policies' or description is turned off, it doesn't display the policies.
Not quite what I was expecting, but I can live with that. [I had all that set up on a separate 'delivery information' page].

I've also found out that if there isn't a description, it won't display the 'shipping and returns' link.
Is this a bug?

Hey @alansh, just so I can have a better understanding of the issue and look into this further, can you let me know:
Yes, it's under store policies insde the 'checkout' area.
Links:
This item has a description: https://gmnscoutshop.square.site/product/os-adult-network-scouts-polo-shirt/428?cp=true&sa=false&sbp...
This item does not.
Thanks for the links there! The Store Policies is tied together with the Item Description since they both 'live' in the same elements. As such, this is expected behaviour at the moment, i.e. if the item description is turned off, customers won't see the Shipping & Returns information.
But if it's turned on but the description happens to be blank, I would still expect to see the policy there.
Alan
The solution is to add a single space character to all those where I don't have a description. I can do that with the bulk upload feature.
[Edit - Space didn't work in bulk uploads. I'll try another character.]
Cheers
