Hi, I'm new to square and just yesterday received my reader. Wanted to quickly set up my hardware but my phone can't connect with the reader and I can't solve it. Uninstalled app, restarted phone and nothing. Anyone can help? Thanks.
@Bohoknots do you or a somebody you know have a phone you could install the app on to see it will connect to thrir phone. Try and identify if its related to your phone or a setting on your phone.

Are you still trying to get this set up? If so, can you let me know what brand and model of mobile device you're trying to connect to? You find our full list of compatible devices here to check if yours is listed.
And yes, it's always a good tip to try to connect to another device to rule out that it isn't an issue specifically with the connection.
